Going to Memphis during a pandemic

My family and I have been planning for this years family vacation since last year so when the pandemic hit, we were sure that taking a vacation was out of the questions. We wanted to keep ourselves safe as well as everyone else, but we were still disappointed. Thankfully, we were still able to take a trip after everything settled down a bit and I wanted to tell you guys all about it. I want to make sure to say right off the bat that we had been tested prior to traveling, we all live in the same household, we wore our masks when we were in public, and we made sure to practice social distancing. With that being said, let's get on with it.  We left on a Friday morning and we drove about 11, maybe 12 hours to get there. I should also mention that we took our dogs with us, so it took us a little longer to get there because we had to make more stops then normal with them along for the ride.  Our first night in Memphis we really didn't do anything, it had been a long drive and all we

Hello Again!!

  It has been a good while since I last posted on here and I have to admit I feel a little out of my lane stepping back into it, but I've been thinking about doing this for a while now and I figure now was as good a time as any. I had wanted to start writing again when the year started, but I had some things I needed to take care of and then COVID happened and it just didn't feel like the right time, but it looks like were going to be stuck in this strange "new normal" for a while longer so I decided to just take the leap and get back to it.  A lot has changed in the last three years and we have a lot to catch up on, but I figure this first post back I would keep it short, sweet, and to the point.  I'M BACK!! I'm excited to be writing again. My first "real" post will probably go up friday and I'll try to post regularly from here on out so stick with me and lets jump back into this together.  Until next time...

First Influenster Voxbox!

**** Disclaimer: I was sent this product for free from influenster to review****  A couple of months ago a friend of mine told me about a website she had joined that sent her products to test for free in exchange for her opinion and suggested I sign up. This list was actually a lot harder to narrow down than I thought it was going to be, but here it is, my 10 favorite movies. I'm interested in seeing if any of these are on your list and if not the what movies and if you've watched them, so without further ado here is my list.  10. For Keeps  Honestly I love all the movies Molly Ringwald stared in during the 80s, but I had to include this movie on the list because of how real they kept the story line. If you haven't seen this yet I recommend you find it and watch it, you'll love it!  9. Serendipity  I'm not sure what it is about this movie draws me in, but every time it's on I watch it. Part of the draw might be that John Cusack stars in it, I absolutely adore him!  8. Travel Bucket List

If I could spend the rest of my life traveling around the world I would do it. My dream for as long as I can remember has always been to see as much of the world as possible during my lifetime. As a child I always loved Summer because it meant going on a family vacation and getting to see a new place. Even now I often feel like a child when I'm getting ready for my next vacation, no matter where I'm going there's always a child like excitement bubbling up inside of me. Since this is such a big dream of mine I decided to put together this travel bucket list and hopefully I'll be able to check off all the places little by little. So, here goes nothing... 1. I've never been one to shove my faith and beliefs down anyone's throat, so I'm going to give everyone a heads up now that this post will be about God, faith, and all that good stuff so if you don't want to read it then by all means leave now. Reading has been on of my favorite past times, even as a little girl there was something about reading a really good book that just did something for me. Now I that I'm older I'd say it helps fulfill the part of me that yearns to travel the world. It takes me away from my reality and transports me into a whole other world where I feel what the characters feel and get to go on a new adventure with every book that I read. So when I was thinking about what I should post next I thought what would be better than giving you all a list of some of my favorite books.
